Riphah Institute of Media Studies is the newest institute of Riphah International University, Rawalpindi, recently established in the traditional Old Supreme Court Building, with an aim to fill in the gaps in the field of media education and research in the region. Ever since the inception of Pakistan till today, there have been very few institutions offering qualifications in the field of Media till today. Professionals in the field of Media are hard to find and most people working in the current media industry of Pakistan have either learnt their skills on job or through limited professional training during the course of their work.
