• Admission notice will be advertised in Local & Foreign Newspapers before the beginning of the academic session. Applications shall be submitted to the Principal, Islamic
International Medical College, Al-Mizan Building, 274-Peshawar Road, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Any application received after due date and time shall not be entertained.

• The admission package includes admission application form, affidavit specimen, hostel admission form and Prospectus.

• Applications should be sent by Registered post/Recorded delivery. Application by hand can also be accepted for which receipt should be obtained.

• All Pakistani National applicants shall fill in the application form along with additional performa with the application and submit to Principal, IIMC.

• The foreign applicants shall fill in two copies of the application form (one original and second photocopy)

• The original copy of the form shall be forwarded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad requesting them for grant of political clearance to the candidate and
subsequently forwarding their application to Ministry of Education who after completing the formalities shall forward the case to Islamic International Medical College. It would be advisable if foreign applicants send their applications through their own Government Embassy/High Commission in Islamabad, Pakistan.

• The second copy (photocopy) duly filled in by the candidate along with complete educational certificates, photocopies of passport be sent to Principal Islamic International Medical College directly as an
advance copy.

• The foreign applicants will submit an additional certificate to prove that the candidate can read, write, speak and interpret English fluently enough to be able to benefit from the clinical and practical
training, which are conducted entirely in English. The certificate should be obtained from the Government or Ambassador or High Commissioner or other competent authority of the country concerned or from the Pakistan Embassy/High Commission in the country.

• An overseas applicant cannot seek admission in any educational institution in Pakistan with a Tourist or Visit Visa and is liable to be deported by the Government of Pakistan as per regulations.

• The College shall not be responsible for foreign/overseas applicant who enters Pakistan with a Tourist/Visit Visa and later on deported by the Government.

• The entry test/interview will be held according to the date, time and place intimated by mail to the applicants after receiving their applications for admission.

• Result/final selection intimation will be dispatched to the successful candidates only.

• The College shall not issue any admission letter to foreign applicant unless clearance from the Government agencies is received. The candidates who are eligible to apply for admission must submit attested copies of the following documents along with the application forms.

• Matric/Senior Cambridge or equivalent certificate. (One copy)

• Provisional/Character certificate of FSc.(Premedical) of the College last attended (Two copies).

• Copies of the detailed marks certificate of FSc (Pre-medical) of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary education(Two copies).

• B.Sc. along with detailed marks sheet. (Two copies).

• No application for admission will be considered unless fully and completely made out on the prescribed form by the candidate in his/her own writing.

Note:

If any of the above certificates/documents are found false or forged, legal action will be taken against the student and he/she will be debarred from admission. Original documents of the selected candidates will be submitted in the College and returned after completion of the course of studies or when student discontinues his/her course of studies after submission of clearance certificates from all departments and library etc. Application forms and photocopies of the documents of candidates, not selected, are not returnable. The admission fee and other dues will not be refunded to those students whose admission has been cancelled due to his/her fabricated documents or if he/she is rusticated / expelled/removed from the college for any reasons or he/she discontinues his/her studies.

Admission will be provisional. Any candidate whose particulars, certificates or any other documents submitted with the admission form are found incorrect on confirmation from the Board/relevant authority or whose authentication is doubtful will be struck off the College roll, even if the candidate has been admitted. A student can be expelled from college by the Principal at any time during the course of his/her
study, if incorrect or wrong data has been submitted by such candidate/parents/guardian at the time of admission. No show cause notice will be necessary for any action under this rule, nor would the Government of Pakistan, Principal or University or any other authority be liable for damages for any action under this rule. Candidates who fail to report for interview/admission on the prescribed date shall be considered to have forfeited his /her right of admission (for Pak nationals only).


MBBS Programme

• Applicant must have passed F. Sc (Premedical group) from Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Pakistan in first division securing 60% minimum aggregate (un-adjusted) marks.

OR

• B. Sc examination from a Pakistani University with Biological Sciences provided the candidate has passed the Intermediate Science Examination in Medical group securing 60% marks in aggregate unadjusted, from Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Pakistan.

• Applicants who have passed examination of foreign university which in scope and standard is found equivalent to the Intermediate (Pre-medical) examination of Pakistan will be eligible for admission in
medical College.

• The candidate must have passed the subjects of Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English in F. Sc (11th & 12th grade USA) examination. Only the subjects common to Pakistani Intermediate Boards will be considered for conversion purpose. The other subjects not taught in Pakistan (F.Sc. Pre-medical) will not be considered.

• An equivalence certificate from Inter-Board Chairmen Committee (IBCC), Islamabad will be provided by the applicant incase of foreign high school certificate.

• The equivalence certificate must be attached with the application form before the closing date. However, equivalence certificates of such applicants will not be accepted if they have not studied the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in 11th and 12th Grade.

• Any one beyond the age of 25 years shall not be admitted. Age limit is 17–25 years.

• The candidate should possess adequate mental and physical health to continue his/her course of studies.

• The Dean/Principal may cancel/refuse admission of/to any student without assigning any reason.

BDS Programme

• The candidate must have passed the Intermediate Science Examination with Pre- Medical Group of a Pakistani Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education securing at least 60% marks in aggregate
un-adjusted.

OR

• The B.Sc. Examination from a Pakistani University with any group of subjects provided he/she has passed the Intermediate Science Examination Pre- Medical Group.

OR

• Any other Examination of a Foreign University, which in scope and standard is found equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination (Pre-Medical Group) of a Pakistani Board.

• The admission will be made on merit.

• The candidate should possess adequate mental and physical health to continue his/her course of studies.

• The Principal may cancel/refuse admission of/to any student without assigning any reason.
